TasteMikes started in the spring of 2022. After facing some health challenges I had to take my eyes off of the disappointment and focus on the possible destiny. I decided to take a leap of Faith to do what I love to do for my wife and family, and start a business. 

As a kid I sat in the kitchen and watched my granny cook and she allowed me to help her pick peas, pick greens, lick the last of the cake mixture off the spoon, and sample some of her greatest dishes. May she continue to rest in peace. 

I also get my love for cooking from my mother Bertha. When I get in the kitchen I’m in my element, nothing matters at that time but good food being prepared. 

I’m excited about what’s to come. My wife always reminds me to not despise small beginnings because if I’m humble and faithful with keeping God first, I will see great things happen.
